Syed Basit Ahmad Sultan Bukhari, from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), garnered 43646 votes, presenting a strong opposition. Nazia, contesting independently, secured 35518 votes, while Ahmad Kareem Qaswar Langrial, also an independent candidate, received 32226 votes.
